Autodesk | Expert Review & Usability Testing

As part of a student team, I evaluated the usability and design of Autodesk's AVA chatbot in Fall 2017. I helped design and carry out our study, which involved expert reviews and usability testing. Autodesk attempted to take all of our findings into account when they redesigned the chatbot in Spring 2018.
Axon
Axon | Usability Testing

As part of my work with the User Experience Center, I helped evaluate the design and usability of an Axon next-generation device. I conducted background research on police officers' experiences, drafted and edited the moderator's guide, took notes during usability testing sessions, and helped compile findings and recommendations into a final report for the client.
Sun Smart
Sun Smart | Design Thinking & Prototyping

I collaborated with two fellow students on creating a concept of a mobile app and wearable to help users track their sun exposure and alert them when their level of exposure becomes too high. We used design thinking exercises to develop and iterate on our concept. The final showcase was a protocast of our digital prototype created using Sketch and InVision and a 3-D prototype of our wearable device.
Playbook Five
Playbook Five | Field Interviews

PlayBook Five aims to use virtual reality and mobile technology to improve athletes’ physical and cognitive
performance, based on the idea that mental visualization enhances athletic skills. I conducted five individual, unstructured interviews to learn about the role of mental visualization in athletic performance and injury prevention. For my final report, I developed personas and identified themes based on the interview data.
